Another question that practitioners face during this time is what happens if their employee has COVID-19 or was exposed to the virus. There are domino scenarios that affect your practice what if they have to get tested or must be off work? As this video explains, you as the employer don’t necessarily although you might have to pay wages to these team members while they are away. It depends on whether the circumstances and your practice meet certain qualifications that lead to obligatory payment.
